“Pricey but excellent. Used with Thule 450R Rapid Crossroad mounting hardware. They replaced a no-brand square crossbars which were less than a third of these. You can't compare them to each other. Thule are quiet!!!!!! Really!!!!. Night and day comparing to square ones. They are also rigid. I have traveled over 1500 miles with them at times 100Mph (when conditions allowed - not that I should) and they were rock solid carrying Thule/Sears roof carrier box. The old ones sounded like a freight train above 50Mph and the whole box was shaking and wobbling. I first considered yakima WhisperBlades but I'm glad they were out of stock. Thule sits higher but provides more surface to install accessories and they install very easily.”
