Thanks so much for your help. I spoke to 3 different guys and all were extremely helpful I have used the rack with my hullivator and am extremely pleased with how easy to use it is. I would highly recommend rack attack as the service was great I live out outside of Vancouver and everything was done over the phone it was very professional service great job!

Didn’t get an email saying the product shipped. Thule fit kit dimensions for spread of feet on bars is way off. Nice email from Rack Attack directing me to the correct foot pack since I already had square load bars.

Works well, secure. I like that it let me use my old crossbars. Instructions are easy to follow.

So I was looking for a way to haul my canoe 900 miles using my 2015 F-150 Super Crew cab to the BWCAW and back and mounting it on the roof was my best option as I have no topper. I tried the foam blocks but due to the corrugated roof the blocks just did not sit well at all either parallel or perpendicular to the side of the truck. I already had Thule square bars and the 78 inch long ones at that so I went with the Thule system. I am very happy I went with this rack system. It is very sturdy once it is all clamped down. It looks just awesome on top of my truck (I have received several nice comments on the rack since I installed it). I changed the location called out by the install for the foot packs on my cab. First I moved the front feet more rearward to get a more level front crossbar. I also moved the rear foot packs further back allowing for a wider spacing as I could see no reason (except hitting your head on the long bars when getting in the rear door) to go with the specified spacing. After a test drive I found the whole thing very noisy above 45 mph. I then installed the 52" AirScreen Fairing which I had bought just in case. That took care of the noise. I can drive at 80 mph now with no real noise issues. However, by adding the fairing to the front crossbar I found that I had to move the front foot packs back forward for two reasons; one, the corrugated roof wouldn't let the feet of the fairing rest evenly on the roof and two, I had to move it more forward than the spec called for because the GPS receiver on the roof also interfered with the feet of the fairing. So in the end I moved the front foot packs several inches closer than the spec and the rear foot packs I left in the position that I placed them at originally which gives me maybe 40 inches between my square bars (recalling the actual measurement from memory so it may not be correct). The end result is I have a lot more space between my square bars than what the spec said. My canoe is a 46 lb kevlar 17 footer. I tied the nose off with hood straps attached to the fender under the hood and in the back I tied to the outer ends of the factory hitch mounting bar instead of going straight down to the hitch(because I was going to haul a trailer as well). I was able to drive at 75 mph with no real noise issues. At 80 mph, I started hearing air being funneled thru the canoe. I put some carpet over the canoe's front webbed seat and that helped some but not totally. I am totally happy with this system and would do the same again. Don't forget the 1787 Traverse System Fit Kit for your 15'-18' F-150.

My order was unusual; after I placed it online, RackAttack called me to confirm it was correct. That's good service. RackAttack also had the best price and prompt shipping.

Fast shipping and was very easy to install on my truck. Also there is much less wind noise than I expected with the wind screen installed.
