“I purchased the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack about 3 years ago, and initially, I was thrilled with its functionality and ease of use. It securely held my bikes, and the loading and unloading process was a breeze. However, as it's only 3 years old now, I'm disappointed with its current condition. Cosmetically, the rack has started to rust, which is not only unsightly but also concerning for its long-term durability. Additionally, it doesn't function as smoothly as it did in its first year of use. The ease with which I could attach and detach my bikes has noticeably declined. Overall, while the Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack served me well in its first 18 months, its decline in both appearance and functionality has left me somewhat dissatisfied with its longevity and value for the price.”

“Hello, i use it alot, and love it, one thing though, what/that could be improved is the lock/mechanism, one of mine has failed and the other seems fragile. Hoping i could have repaired, otherwise I'm happy with and glad i went with the 2" ..regards Mark Tracey”

“I have been using the T2 Pro XTR for over two years and I highly recommend this rack. As an older user, 70+ years old I find the bike rack to be very easy to load and extremely stable at highway speeds. My wife's bike is a heavier step-through model and I find it very easy to load onto this rack. I am also very happy with the anti-theft components of the rack.”

“Very versatile. Although you will need a bit of strength to lift up the rack (about 50 lbs) and then hold steady to easily attach to the car. Once in place it is easy to secure the bikes to the rack.”

“I purchased this product to replace a roof mounted bike carrier. Feel much safer with the bike on the new hitch mounted rack. It is super easy to mount the bikes on the rack, as well as to remove the bikes from the rack. The rack doesn’t interfere with my vehicle’s backup camera however when backing up the alarm sounds constantly as the sensors detect the presence of the rack. The hitch rack is very easy to install on the car and to remove when it is not in use. The rack is heavy but has two wheels on the base which makes it easy to manoeuvre the rack when taking it in and out of storage”
