“The instructions for assembly are easy to read and it took less than an hour to fully assemble and install on my car. The box included all necessary hardware and tools for the assembly. Beyond assembly, it's very easy to operate and, while it isn't too heavy (~35 lbs), it seems to be very robust. The ball cam anti-rattle mechanism has worked well thus far. It holds the rack/bike in place with minimal movement. Installing the hitch on the car and mounting the bike on the rack takes less than 5 minutes, which is far less time than the old trunk-mounted, strapped rack that I had in the past. If the rack is already on the car, it takes about 2 minutes to get the bike on at a leisurely pace and since there is no contact between the rack and the car's paint, I feel comfortable leaving it on for longer periods of time, unlike a trunk-mounted rack with straps that fly in the wind.”
