For my needs this was perfect. The rack itself has a natural theft deterrent with the way it tightens in the receiver, plus the integrated bike cable lock. There is a bit of installation but the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I got this model because it had the best bang for the buck. I also like that you can step through the middle of it to load the fist bike. I have only used this on pickup truck and not suv so have not been able to see if the drip down feature would be beneficial or not. On the truck it foes not drop down enough to use the tailgate but a 4-6 inch receiver extension would make that possible. Not a big deal for me. My wife and i use this for out mtn and gravel bikes. Nothing heavier than 30lbs. While driving there does not appear to be a lot of movement. Everything stays stable and still. Cant speak to heavier loads like ebikes.

Does what I wanted: carries 2 bikes with no frme contact. Assembly is reasonable and provides an appreciation for the quality of the product. My only complaint is I can't open the hatch on my Rav4 with bikes loaded even when slanted down.

Love the new rack. I bought it because I needed a strong rack for my RV. I have had a Sherpa 2.0 for many years and my buddy has the NV 2 and we love them. My only gripe is that they give you a hitch pin with a Cotter pin not a lock like the rest of the racks I’ve had. I’ve called about it and was basically told that I could buy one. Just seems petty that they didn’t include the lock. Still love the racks though

Works great so far. Slightly too tight against the bumper when folded up. It is leaving a dent in the bumper Kia Sportage 2006 however we prefer this than our bikes in the car

Arrived undamaged from Rack Attack. Took two of us 1.5-2 hours to put the rack together but that included the unpacking and laying everything out in some sort of order. The directions were pretty clear, all necessary tools were included and no parts were missing. We liked that a drawstring bag was included that is big enough to hold tools, locks, pins and directions. Haven’t used the rack yet but the previous model (original Transfer) was easy to use and very stable. Will report in if future problems.

Perfect for my car and travel trailer. There is literally no other rack that I could put on my travel trailer to hold two e-cruisers and not exceed the hitch weight max. So happy with the functionality and quality of this rack!
