“While it worked fine initially, over time I found it difficult to get the front wheel arms to lock reliably. I now have to secure them with straps to prevent them from releasing when driving. Fork mount seems much more reliable for a roof rack.”

“Once set up holds bike securely. Often difficult to engage lock with the top two bars which connect together. Other than that it is easy to set up to the cross bars and on load/offload the bikes.”

“The Thule Upride has to be the best bike carrier I’ve ever owned, hands down. The mechanism feel sturdy and really locks bikes in and upright. I never question the security of my bike while behind the wheel. There’s no need to remove your front wheel and fiddle with threw axle adapters; quickly and securely mount and dismount your bike to the roof in as little as 15-20 seconds, which is particularly handy during rainy weather and the anti-theft cable lock integrated into the rail is a clever tough. Great job Thule.”
