“I was looking for a single tray bike rack which wouldn’t block my license plate. All of the fold up models do and the Kuat Piston SR with Hitch mount was perfect. The bike holder part is awesome and so easy to use. It comes off easy enough where if I don’t need it for a few days I just pull it off. Overall very happy with it!”

“The rack itself is great, easy to use, and sturdy. However, the mounting hardware it came with is not fit for purpose. The instructions call out a 10Nm torque spec for the mounting bolts, and trying to get anywhere near that they would round off the interior hex portion of the bolt head. That is quite disappointing for such an expensive rack.”

“Easy to use. Sturdy. Seems like it will last awhile. Bike still wiggles quite a bit, like my old 1Up. It's not going anywhere, but friends mention it when you pull into a bumpy parking lot. Main problem is the noise. Cable lock rattles a bit, adjustable tire holders rattle a bit. Driving with the sunroof open is annoying on Michigan roads. Tapered pins on the tire holders and a few more rubber cable guides would probably fix it. I'd buy it again, but it would be nice for a premium rack to be quieter than a 7 year old 1up.”

“This thing rocks! Super sturdy; we got it for a cross-country and back trip for the summer and it performed perfectly even through some mountain dirt roads, storms, and freezing weather! The ease of use is amazing! This one is worth it!”

“It’s a great bike rack! I’m tall and I need XL mountain bikes and they are almost too large, but they do barely fit. The rack is very sturdy and super easy to use. Only con is it can be noisy on the freeway. Like a constant wooooo noise”
