Bike lock isn't great, but everything else is. CAR MIGHT NOT BE WATERTIGHT WHEN ON. In my 2023 Subaru Crosstrek it leaks where the center strap hooks so WATCH OUT for that. I did end up getting my own straps though to hold the wheel.

I took this out on a road trip into the mountains, where we were hit by a horrible rain storm with strong winds. Normally, this type of scenario would give me a lot of anxiety, but after looking back at our bikes several times and seeing that there was NO movement from the rain or winds, I was able to ease my worries and enjoy the ride. I love how easy it is to take on and off the car, and I imagine I would be able to use this no matter the car type or size because of its versatility. Highly recommended for folks that want a cheaper and still sturdy alternative to getting any hitch versions.

Fit my Volvo XC60 very well. Used it a few times and haven't experienced any issues. I did place padding on the lower support as I only saw 2 points that supported the lower arms and was afraid they might cause denting. I still haven't figured out a way to use the included security rack harness as the gap on my vehicle isn't big enough to slide the end dongle through. Quality is superb and directions very clear.

This seems to be a well-constructed bike rack that will last for quite a while. My issues with it concern the installation and some damage it did to my vehicle. I installed it on a 2017 Toyota RAV4. Before installation, I went to the Yakima web site and read the installation notes. One thing that was pointed out as very important was to make sure the lower portion of the rack stayed within the recessed area of the tailgate where the license plate is located. I made sure it met that condition when initially installed. However, I didn't notice (until too late) that it had slipped down after the bikes were loaded onto it. By the time I got to my destination, there was a very noticeable dent in my tailgate. I'll take the blame for this for not double-checking the position after the rack was weighed down, but wanted to put it out there as a word of warning. What I won't take the blame for is the scratches that it made in my paint. I cleaned the area carefully where the rack would be contacting the car, but the lower portion of the rack has hard rubber pieces where it contacts the car and, if it moves at all (which it certainly will while traveling), it absolutely will scratch the paint on your car. I highly recommend putting something like a soft cloth or soft foam pieces between your car and the lower portion of the rack. One last thing. The FullBack comes with keys and a locking mechanism to secure the bikes, but it looks like there is supposed to be some sort of cable that goes with it. My box did not have that cable in it and I don't see it mentioned as an extra accessory that needs to be purchased. Therefore, the locking mechanism is useless to me and I should have just purchased the HalfBack.

The Prius 2016 doesn't allow hitch bike rack nor rooftop. And the design of the liftback and spoiler makes it a difficult fit. But this rack definitevely fits the Prius 2016 and is a good sturdy rack. It may be a challenge at first to set it up, but once you will have done it once, it will be ok.
