We employed components from our SplitRail to develop the MonoRail. The MonoRail carries two bikes with an option for a third bike (2" model only). Holds kids bikes, road, mtn and fat bikes.

“Easy to mount bikes on and off the rack. It is very easy to tilt the rack for access to the hatchback. I can put a variety of bikes on it from road to fat tire cruisers. The cable lock is easy to use. The rack has a lock that prevents someone from stealing it.”

“Amazing bike rack for it's price point. Compared to other brands, the RockyMounts rack comes with a few extra supporting accessories like fat bike straps and locks that you often have to purchase separately with other brands. The lever to tilt the rack for storage or access to the hatch is well thought out and in an accessible place. Overall the rack is very easy to use and well thought out!”

“Rack is very solid and holds my bikes really well. I took one star off because the instructions were unnecessarily complicated (like using a code for a part that you have to then translate to the actual part) and took me more time than it should have to get it right. Also, I was told when it's loaded with bikes, my directional indicators are blocked from view, so that's a bit of a concern. Love the rack, though.”

“Amazing bike rack. I feel very secure with the way the rocky mount monorail is attached and the added locks that make me sleep easier at night. There is slight up and down play after bolting everything down, but it doesn’t affect the security of the rack. This is the 2” model attached to my 2” receiver.”

“A great rack at a fair price. I had a more expensive brand of rack. The Rockymounts was $100 cheaper and a nicer rack. If your in the market for a quality rack, grab yourself one if these bad boys and thank me later !”
