“The Thule rack works very well, easy to move around and easy to put on your hitch. Loading the bikes is very quick and easy to secure in place. When not in use it folds up very compact and you can still use your rear hatch. It works well with E bikes because of the weight. It is not that hard to put on the right.”

“Overall the bike rack is well designed for my needs. I am over 70 and after multiple abdominal surgeries, I am unable to lift our heavy e-bikes so the extended ramp is perfect. I have a problem, however, with the auto pin no longer staying open on its own when putting the rack into the hitch receiver and also when removing the carrier from the hitch. This now makes it a two-person job to keep the auto pin open. Your online Thule Rack Attack instructional videos clearly show the auto pin staying open to easily insert and remove the carrier ... and my bike rack WAS doing this for the first few months of owning it. When I phoned Rack Attack in Mississauga, Ontario about the problem they told me to bring it in so I drove an hour each way to do that. After leaving it at their store for a couple of weeks they phoned and told me Thule was not going to fix or warranty this. Having paid over $1200.00 after taxes I found this very disappointing that Thule would not stand by their product.”

“We purchased this rack on the recommendation of our Rack Attack salesman and it did not disappoint. We have two heavier e-bikes and this rack transports them with ease! We love it! As an added bonus it packs down and folds to a super small package. It’s also very lightweight and stores well.”

“We love our Thule EasyFold XT platform Bike Rack! It’s sturdy and has great features. The arms that grab the bikes take some getting used to, as they can be positioned along the bar they’re on, and they need to “reach through” the middle of the inner bike to clamp onto the outer one. But once you sort that out, it’s easy. I find it much easier to have 2 people to put the carrier on the car hitch, but once connected, it’s easy to tighten it securely. I like that both the connections to the car hitch and the bike clamps can be locked, which is a great feature. We bought the platform style so that if/when we switch to E-bikes, we’ll have a trailer that can accommodate them. Also love that the bike rack folds easily, has wheels, and can be stored and locked easily. It was pricey, but for us, it was worth it.”
