Great rack. We're able to access the back of our vehicle without having to remove our bikes from the rack, which is great on long road trips! One word of caution though: it's very heavy: make sure your receiver can handle the load!

Easy to use. Easy to install. Only minor issue is that when it’s places into 2 inch trailer hitch receiver , it doesn’t sit perfectly straight/vertical. It’s a minor problem, but I like things to look neat.

Part of it broke off on the highway and the bikes swung out on me. I’m waiting (4weeks now) to hear back re: warranty. With the broken part gone, I needed help to push and lift the bikes I order to get the screw for the swinging arm in tight.

I got this at the beginning of summer and ended up changing it with Thule T2 Pro XT + the extension which is a great product. It is very difficult to put bikes on Thule Apex XT Swing. As you load/unload bikes, the bike rack scratches the bike as the rack metal frame rubs against the bike frame no matter how careful you are! Given bikes are too close to the car, they end up hitting against the bumper which left quite a few nasty scratches on my car. I was very unsatisfied with the product and ended up returning it after a week.

Using it for the past 2 years to get 3 bikes to and from the cottage. Easy to attach to my minivan. Only problem I have is sometimes I forget that it is there and I try to use the auto open button on the rear door. I have been happy with the rack

While the bike rack functioned exactly like I expected and absolutely held our bikes secure over hundreds of miles during long week-long road trips, it has a disappointing design flaw associated with certain vehicle models. The hinge on the swing arm is situated so it is behind the exhaust of my 2021 Subaru Forester, causing the plastic cover to nearly melt away. So far, it doesn't appear to have affected the function of the swing arm.
