“The rack itself is good but I’m struggling with the newer plastic straps as opposed to the stretchy rubber ones. They often get stuck or jammed ans simply feel less quality than the rubber straps .”

“It does what it says it will do. It’s quite light and easy to install and remove, which is why I got this model. For my bikes (all standard “triangle” frames) they were held securely. The only concern was that one of the straps is in the same location as the cable braze-ons on one of my bikes. I was worried it might damage the strap rubbing on the braze-ons on a long trip. I just put a small rag around the frame in that area to protect the strap. Still just as secure and no worry of damage.”
