We were amazed by the off grid application of the cfx75. We had 1 x 175 watts solar panels and one battery and we could go forever. When using one side as a fridge and other side as a freezer it used substantial amount more power. Thanks so much to Dometic and Rack attack to make our off grid holiday so much more pleasant. Oh ya my beer was a constant 4 deg celcius with no need for ice the whole trip. Amazing. Again thanks.

This is the second dometic powered cooler I’ve bought. The first one is still going strong not a problem of any kind to date and probably 7-8 years every summer 3-4 trips. Double compartment is definitely the way to go, cool and freeze at the same time but a little bigger and heavier to move around.

Love this refrigerator/freezer combo. Works very well. Freezer side can even make ice in ice trays. Unit work well with 1000 jackery. Would recommend to anyone.

It has been working fine since day 1 ! It has been almost 2 years since we bought it. The only thing, don't use it with the 12v cable in a 12v socket. Cut the wire and plug it into a fusebox, otherwise the 12v socket will get loose eventually.

So far I have only tested this unit at home in garage, so still need a chance to get it out into a real world situation. The CFX3 75 is attractive and seems well built. Weight is reasonable and covers latch nicely. Works flawlessly on 120 Volts, but went into low voltage protection twice while powered on Yeti 1400 @ 12 Volts. First auto shut down had battery protection set on CFX at Med & second set at LOW.
