“Fantastic product! Installed on our minivan easily (sqaure thule 50in crossbars). We hauled our tandem kayak (yes a beast) all over last summer. Prepare yourself for stares and questions from other boaters when they see this product. Looks impressive, and works even better. The fold down feature is great so the van fits back in the garage after the trip. Also the beverage opener is a nice bonus. Just added another boat, so I'll be buying another set of these ASAP...be sure to get the yakima locks with it.”

“This was a great purchase from Rack Attack! I can't say a negative thing about it! They mount easily to both my Jetta with Yak bars and my Pathfinder with factory bars and feel very secure when they are on. Loading and unloading the boat is easy and they are rock solid when traveling. Thanks Yakima and Rack Attack!”

“SUV has roof rails with crossbars and needed a kayak carrier that would fit the OEM crossbars. RA tech support replied that the Yakima BowDowns would be the best fit for this configuration. The BowDowns fit great and are held securely in place with SKS locks. The fold down capability of the BowDowns allows entry to garages when the racks are not in use. The Thule quick release fold-down is probably a better idea than the slower screw knob release on the Yakima. Excellent construction and ease of installation make these four and a half stars.”
