“Delicious, real food, light, tasty and simple. I have tried many types of freeze dried hiking foods. Radix ticks all the boxes. Seeing real ingredients as opposed to mystery cubes was the first sign it was going to be good and the taste did not disappoint. As the title says - something to look forward to after a long day of hiking.”

“I’ve made a few attempts over the years to like freeze dried meals but flavour, texture and taste are critical to being a repeat customer. I gave this a go from Radix and I was so impressed I ended up buying a dozen other flavours to test on upcoming hikes. Thank you.”

“Bought a few Radix meals to try because I am a coeliac and I want to have emergency backup meals that I can take anywhere, from multi-day camping trips to day trips where I know there will be no food options for me. As a coeliac there are often times that I'm stuck going somewhere without any safe food and having to rely on protein bars and tuna until I can get back to some real food again. I really liked the flavour of this and found the 600 to be plenty filling. It was great to have hot, varied and filling food instead of just another protein bar! I liked how convenient it was to prepare and loved that I could wash out the packet and put it in soft-plastic recycling afterwards. My boyfriend is in the Australian military - when he tried a bite he said it was better than many of his rations! Will definitely buy in bulk to keep on stand by.”

“I took this meal on a tramp with me, it took up very little space in my backpack and was light. And when cooked with the water was a tasty and fulling meal.”
