“I really loved these sample packs of Plant Protein (shakes) - I took all 5 sample flavours on a 100+km 7-day trail of Mount Buller, and some mornings after a "relatively easy" previous day, I didn't feel I needed the Radix Breakfast meal, so opted for these very simple (lightweight) alternatives. I had intended to use them as a lunch supplement if/when needed, and as emergency meals. Nice! Will now keep these included in my regular hiking food list. I really loved these sample packs of Plant Protein pouches. I am not vegan, but good food is simply good food - I took all 5 on the Mount Buller trek, and some mornings after a "relatively easy" previous day, I didn't feel I needed the Radix Breakfast meal, so opted for these very simple (lightweight) alternatives - I had intended to use them as a lunch supplement if/when needed, and as emergency meals. Nice! Will now keep these included in my regular multi-day hiking food list. Note: I used it with (alpine) cold water, so it did require vigorous stirring - I don't bother with hot drinks on the trail, but I reckon this would be brilliant substitute for those who "need a hot drink" in the mornings by adding warm water.”
