“Had this earlier in the year and loved it. Texture was amazing and full of berries. Had this again on a recent trip and was a little disappointed as the raspberry flavour, which made it extra special, had gone. I wonder if the recipe has changed. Still a great breakfast to look forward to, very fulling (between two of us), but I must say it was not as good as before.”

“The Expedition 800 Mixed Berry Breakfast has now become my go to meal for overnight and multi-day tramps. Great flavour and it is filling. The beauty with this meal is that it tastes very good hot or cold, so if I'm on an ultralight trip there is no need to carry a cooker or fuel. The pouch design also negates the need for a bowl/plate as the pouch can be torn across the middle to create a bowl. I suspect though that there is now less berries compared with the last version of the Expedition meal. The new 800 meal could do with some more berries, otherwise a very good meal.”

“Really good value, I took a bunch of these on a recent tramp around the Nelson lakes and they were delicious and filling. The 800 kcal had plenty of fuel to keep me going until lunch. Also easy to prepare and light to carry.”

“I had this breakfast while walking Tasmania's South Coast Track. It was quick to prepare and really delicious. The flavour was zesty and fresh tasting from the fruit, which is so nice on day 7 of a long expedition. It didn't taste stodgy and freeze dried. It was also filling.”

“Radix was new to me at the beginning of this year and now I have tried 8 different flavors across the range, I have to say very impressed so far looking forward to trying even more flavors mixed berry is definitely one of my favorites”
