“The Salt Guard product was very easy to apply and cleanup was a breeze compared to previous non-water based sealants we used. There was no obnoxious odor and no yellowing of grass from overspray. We put 2 applications of Salt Guard on our driveway using a sprayer but waited for the first application to be somewhat absorbed but still damp before applying the second coat. The water from a rain beaded up all over the driveway so we know the Salt Guard is working.
We’ll definitely purchase again in a few years and I’ll try to write a review again after this winter is over. The plow drivers aren’t supposed to salt our driveway or cul de sac but new guys sometimes drop some salt so we have had some pitting from the past winters even though it was sealed previously with other manufacturer’s products. Hopefully this sealant will protect it this winter from further pitting/spalling.
I also liked the price of this product bomoared to others. It was easy to mix too.”
