“I received my SkyTrak a few weeks ago and I have been very impressed. Set up was straightforward, initially connecting with an iPad in Direct Connection Mode and then using in Network Connection Mode. Both modes have been used seamlessly, with connections being established quickly and maintained throughout the session. I do recommend spending a bit of time to ensure that the device is level and in good alignment, but there are tools within SkyTrak to assist with this. I bought SkyTrak so that my 10 year old son and I can continue to work on our swings during the winter, fine tune distances, and provide some enjoyment during the winter doldrums- after using for the last few weeks I am confident SkyTrak will check these boxes. One example; I know that I have a tendency to launch my driver low. SkyTrak has allowed me to work on a few minor set-up and swing tweaks and view resulting launch angles and distance. Through this information, I have quickly added up to 20 yards to my drives, as noted through use of SkyTrak and also validated visiting an AboutGolf simulator and Trackman. My one critique is that I wish there was a short demo available of some of the subscription software. During set-up, it implied like demo access would be available but it was not. I contacted SkyGolf and they would not provide any demo access; it would be nice to try even if it was for a few days before paying for a subscription fee. Minor though as I am more interested in using in driving range mode anyways... If you can’t move south but still want to be able to scratch the golf itch during the winter, I would recommend checking out SkyTrak.”
