I absolutely love this unit. It may not be Track Man but it is the next best thing for thousands less. I set up an indoor range at my office and hit into a net or use a roll up door to hit outside...just like at my country club!

I am very happy with the performance of the SkyTrak launch simulator. Unlike my Optishot 2 Simulator, SkyTrak gives a very accurate portrayal of my ball flight. Topped shots don’t go 200 yds like they did with Optishot. Unfortunately, it also accurately portrays my yardages, which aren’t very far anymore - getting old has it’s disadvantages. The calculated club head speeds are low, but the calculated carry distance and total yardage are very accurate based upon my GPS measurements. The iron yardages are very realistic, and the woods and driver yardages are generally about 5-10% low. I can get the driver to match by changing the altitude, temp and humidity, but then the irons are unrealistically long. I leave everything at the default settings, and just live with slightly longer shots into the green. There were a lot of comments on the forum about SkyTrack showing shots going too far left. I also experienced this, but after taking extra care setting up the sensor perfectly parallel to the outer edge of my mat, and getting the bottom of the sensor level with the top of the mat, it now very accurately depicts the horizontal launch angle. I also purchased the WGT simulator software, which has not been as reliable. Even though I have 100/100 mbps internet service, WGT frequently locks up and reports “can not locate device”. Sometimes it is able to locate the SkyTrak signal and I can continue. Sometimes it cannot, and I have to shut down WGT and start over - very frustrating. However, as far as SkyTrak is concerned, it is just what I was looking for

Do yourself a favor and stop waiting. Purchase the SkyTrak now! I read about the SkyTrak online and decided it was priced right and would give me the information I needed. It's really straight forward and easy to use. I don't have a projector so I use my IPAD and it works just fine. I wish I had bought this years ago. The only negative is that my WiFi is not quite strong enough in the garage if I use the protective cover. (This is no fault of the SkyTrak). I ordered a booster which should eliminate that problem. Today I am ordering the foam pads for the sides because when you practice with nobody watching, you can try crazy stuff with the driver and sometimes the ball hits the support. I previously bought the Net Return Pro and the 10' hitting mat. Now I have a real system! The guys at Rain or Shine Golf are knowledgeable and awesome with customer service.

Rain and Shine golf team is outstanding with answers to questions about a plethora of items that come up when setting up the simulation studio. SkyTrak itself has already improved my golf game. Instead of a driving range for practice once or at most twice a week, I can hit 30 balls every day and it greatly helps ball striking!

I’m loving every single aspect of it. The only thing I regret is that I haven’t bought it sooner to work on my swing. Great product!

I’ve been very happy with the Skytrak so far. It’s exactly what I was looking for: a garage driving range to measure out shots and build my club distance ranges after getting back into golf a little more seriously.

I don't spend a lot of money on luxury items. However, i used to dream about having a golf simulator in my house when I lived in Canada. I had abandoned the dream after moving to Houston, but my friend talked about doing it so I decided to pull the trigger myself. I dedicated a 17' by 15' room to the simulator with The Net Return enclosure and bought the SkyTrak launch monitor. The other critical components were a short throw Optoma projector and a Fiberbuilt mat. Adding the laptop and some mats to cover the floor put me at about $9k all in. AND IT'S ALL WORTH IT to play golf at home or even practice knowing exactly how your ball is flying. BUY IT! =) I should add that most of the components are not usually available on sale - so you want to buy where you can minimize sales tax, minimize shipping costs, and get good service. Rain or Shine Golf fit those categories for me. I chose them mostly due to the help available on their website and their partner's websites. They lived up to expectations.
