“From a grind function standpoint, this is a solid product and a classic in the lineup of home grinder options. For the money, it has all the functionality you really need for home coffee preparation. I'm writing purely to share one element that I'm shocked is never in any other reviews, and I really wish I had known prior to buying this: it is messy. I may be a bit of a perfectionist, but even with weekly cleanouts, this machine leaves a mess after every use. The design of the receptacle bin means that with each removal to use the grinds, excess flakes and grinds go everywhere--out from the top, out from underneath the bin, out from the bottom of the machine, etc. If you don't have a location where you can easily sweep up all the debris coming off the machine, you'll be frustrated with this design flaw. As a result, I switched out to the Fellow Ode.”
