“It’s not clear to me why the filter was designed to require three fold-overs to fit into the Ratio Eight basket. Why don’t we have a zero fold-over filter?
Unless I’m missing something, it looks like zero fold-over would be simpler from the design, engineering and production perspectives, would require less raw materials, should cost less to produce, and would be simpler for the customer to use in the Ratio Eight.
The Chemexfilter works fine, but it’s clumsy to use and is a waste of raw marerials. Unless I’m missing something, the solution appears to be simple and obvious, and would be much more convenient for the customer.”
“The original filters that came with the purchase of my Chemex Eight were perfect. These seem to be smaller and of a lower quality. Coffee overflows out of the filter and down the outside of the carafe as it is brewing, every single time. I reached out to customer service, and I haven’t received a response yet.”
