“We ordered a glass carafe as an extra for our thermal package. It obviously doesn’t keep coffee as warm as long as the thermal carafe but when you’re going to drink it pretty soon it’s perfect. It also pours really well without any spilling. And like everything else ratio it is beautifully designed.”

I had to order a replacement carafe after breaking my original one while washing it. The second one arrived and while they are beautiful... this one hasn't functioned correctly since its arrival. I have photos if needed but the bottom silicone pad pulls off every time I remove the carafe from the ratio 8, and feels as though the handle might break off I have to pull it so hard to get it off of the base each time. Seems like I might have gotten a lemon this time around...”
“the ratio is my third type of pour over carafe and it’s truly the goldilocks of the bunch. details like the rubber base pad are clear improvements. but more subtle nuances like the quality and cleanliness of how it pours are really where it stands out. i have borderline “shout from the rooftop” praise for this beautiful piece.”

“It was much thinner glass than the last two I’ve owned. This one broke with a slight bump on the edge of the Ratio 8 platform and I need to order another new one. The two previous carafes ive owned, and I’m one of your original customers, were much sturdier.”
“It's very nice but it breaks easily. I was washing the original out in the sink and was swirling water and soap around. I bumped the side of the sink and it broke. Boom 7 months after purchase I needed a new pitcher to use my coffee maker. For 500 bucks, I should have gotten a replacement for free.”
