“We prefer this glass carafe over the thermal one that comes with the Ratio 6 because we don’t like to brew coffee in plastic. It would’ve been much better if we could’ve had a choice when purchasing the Ratio 6 machine. Now we have a carafe that we don’t need and we had to pay extra for the one we wanted.”
“The Chemex carafe feels better in hand and pours easier. This carafe feels more fragile. I dislike the magnet. It’s unnecessary and makes cleaning more difficult.”

“Hello - the quality of the carafe is significantly lower than the original that came with our machine 6 years ago. It weighs less and is more easily scratchable. I had to peel the Made in China sticker off the handle, and the rubber base is glued on poorly. Quite disappointed with our replacement version, especially considering the cost.”
