“Just needed a couple of extra thermal lids for older carafes. Didn’t realize I could order them right from the website, but customer service was super friendly and helpful.”
“The ratio 6 is a fabulous coffee maker and the design is great. Except for the thermal carafe, which really sucks. The lid has broken twice… a seal on the pour mechanism comes loose after 4-5 months. The carafe itself does not retain heat well(coffee is unsinkable after an hour and a half) and it does not empty fully. All in all, the carafe is up for a major design revision.”
“The Ratio Six thermal carafe lid is remarkably bad. It is surprising to find such a poorly designed component on an otherwise excellent coffee maker, which brews high quality, consistent coffee. However, the lid drips constantly, retains water after rinsing it, and generally causes a mess when pouring from the carafe. The lid is so bad that it is almost a deal-breaker on the Ratio Six overall. The only solution I have found is to give up on the carafe entirely and use my chemex with the coffee maker. Apart from the carafe lid, I’m otherwise very happy with the machine.”
