“I continue to be extremely unimpressed with the carafe lid. The replacement works better than the original (for now), but it’s still a lousy design—coffee splats out rather than flows out. I just can’t understand how such a thoughtfully designed machine had such a terribly designed carafe lid. If there were an alternative, I would love to see it, but considering that this design remains unchanged for several years now, I’m guessing that they’ve given up on it.”
“This is the 3rd or 4th lid we’ve had to either request (at no charge) or purchase. They don’t last long :( the little rubber stopper keeps getting stuck, so the lid leaks coffee when you pour it. Otherwise, this is thee best coffee make me we’ve ever had.”
“SUCH an improvement over the original lid. I was annoyed that I had to go searching for an answer to our splatter-while-pouring problem during the first few months we used the Ratio Six but that said I am very glad I purchased the new lid because it has made a world of difference.”
