“While I like the idea of the ratio six, there are a few things I think could make it much better. The heat guard piece is awkward to remove, and splashes water/coffee droplets when you take it off. Also the carafe is not nice to pour from, it’s difficult to get every drop of coffee out and some always drips down the side. Also while the inside is stainless steel the outside is plastic. Wanted to love the machine but I’m returning it.”
“4/5: I love this coffee pot. It makes great coffee, the carafe keeps the coffee warm, and it looks good /fits well on my countertop. The only issue for me is the lid of the carafe - kind of fussy to get on correctly and doesn't pour that great.”

“I don't like the flat basket and all the pieces. I don't like that the filter papers don't always stay upright and sometimes grounds get in the pot.
I also find the pot awkward to use and frankly it does not keep the coffee hot. I have purchase a glass carafe and use that instead.
However, the unit itself works seamlessly. I put in the water, put in the filter and coffee, push the button, go brush my teeth and get dressed and I come back to a PERFECT cup of coffee. I am a pour over coffee nut and this machine works perfectly.
I guess the only thing I don't like is the old style basket assembly and the thermo pot that does not keep coffee hot.
Also, I ordered this on the sale you had on line. right after that you offered a refurbished for even less money. When I received this unit, I could tell it had been out of the box and repacked. I could tell by the way things were wrapped and sealed. What can you do to help me out?”
