“I’m coming from a Technivorm. I bought the 6 hoping that it would be equal to the task of making a great half pot of coffee. It does! The flat bottom basket yields a different flavor profile then the v basket of the Technivorm.”
“The Ratio Six produces the smoothest, most-flavorful cup of coffee I’ve ever been able to make at home. I’m not one for clocks, grinders, etc. on a coffee maker and would rather put my dollars toward a machine that’s focused on the brewing result. The Ratio Six delivers an excellent cup even on those occasions when the pot has been sitting for awhile.
I do have one small question: how can I clean the inside of the pot lid so that residue and moisture doesn’t build up?”

So glad to hear you like the Six! The Six thermal carafe should have a wide enough lip that you can reach inside to wipe it out with a paper towel as needed. “This is a beautiful coffee maker that makes good coffee. You buy this coffee maker to match your new kitchen and for its craftsmanship. Only one small complaint is the gasket on top of the filter basket. When removing the thermal carafe it hits the brew head and sprays water over the counter. Its an optional feature that can be removed as stated in the instruction manual. There is a technique to using the carafe but once you know how it pours easy.”
“The machine is built well and makes a good cup of coffee. There are a few things thats topped me from making this a 5 star rating.
1) there is a build up of condensation on the machine each time I make coffee
2) the carafe is heavy and isn’t the best pour.
3) no adjustments for brew”
“We order our coffee locally & fresh from Airship coffee in Bentonville, AR. When we brew a pot of coffee with the Ratio 6; our coffee has a nice smooth flavor. The coffee maker was surprisingly heavy & well built; aesthetically the look is very pleasing to the eye; I enjoy watching the coffee brew & I do not think it is loud. I am over all happy with my choice; I’m thankful, I did not choose the Moccamaster; because the Ratio 6 is solid & the shower head on it is great; spreads water evenly over the coffee grounds. Overall it is a simple, sleek design & easy to use. I recommend ordering tall coffee filters & putting 1 over the coffee grounds, when brewing a full pot; so grounds do not end up in your coffee. I would definitely recommend ordering Ratio’s coffee filters; I wished I would had; when I ordered my Ratio 6.”
