“Pros: It makes a great cup of coffee and I enjoy the process of making the morning coffee. The matte black looks great and matches our Fellow Ode grinder and coffee container. It seems to be well built and hope it will last for years to come.
Cons: Pouring out of the thermal carafe is a bit awkward and difficult to get the last of the coffee out. The lead time is absurd and no updates on the order status are sent unless you reach out. Customer service response has been prompt. It was originally supposed to ship 6 weeks after ordering. It arrived 11 weeks after I ordered it and the glass carafe is still on backorder and is expected to ship 14 weeks after the date I ordered it. I was disappointed to see the product is made in China and not assembled in Oregon like the Ratio Eight.”
“This is a replacement for a unit that was leaking from the base. Now…the coffee pot from this unit leaks water when tilting the pot after washing and then drying. Water gets between the inner and outer surface of the pot at the bottom and top of the pot where silver meets black trim. Disappointing”
