It is not messy (no dripping coffee all over the place) and the coffee stays pretty warm in the thermos. My only complaint is that the button to turn the coffee on is really sensitive and easily activated so it requires getting used to not putting your hand anywhere near the button until you are ready to brew.”

I was disappointed with the look of the stainless steel. I would not consider it a matte stainless steel, it is more of a gray color and lacks any reflectiveness. I ended up swapping the my Ratio Six out for a black one.

“I must say the taste of the coffee is perfect. The machine is not easy to use. Too many parts to deal with and the instructions do not identify each piece and it’s purpose. The temperature of the coffee is not hot enough after the brew is “ready” and the carafe does not maintain the temperature. The carafe is very heavy even at half capacity. I am disappointed and will be returning. Looks very nice on the counter.”
