“It was time to say goodbye to the 25 year old krups machine that had been providing my morning mediocrity so faithfully for so long. Apparently I had become numb to how excellent coffee could taste. Even with questionable grinders and par level coffees this machine can make even the most medial coffee shine. I couldn’t be happier with the machine and charming design. “i was happy when this finally arrived at my doorstep , it was already pre rinsed and cleaned and ready to brew out of the box which not a lot of companies do ! so it was nice to start my first cup of coffee and man i can’t believe the difference in taste and flavor not to mention it’s simple one button touch start takes no more than a couple min for a cup of fresh hot coffee which is amazing ! i did upgrade to the series 2 thermal carafe because of the improved pour, but otherwise i’m happy with this coffee maker. i felt a company that prides itself on quality parts and offers a five warranty i figured why not get refurbished. no scratches or dings on my model so thank you Ratio Six ^_^”
“For the money I spent I do not think this was worth it. The pot does not pour properly and I can not get all the coffee out without having issues or spilling. It is just OK but I could have got OK for much less money.”
“We were SO disappointed when our original Ratio Six stopped working after less than 6 months! We were already spoiled and accustomed to the great coffee it made. Fortunately, our unit was under warranty and we qualified for a replacement! We are enjoying our Ratio Six refurbished coffee maker now. The only glitch we've had is that the refurbished unit would not operate with the carafe that it came with. Fortunately, we still had the carafe from our original unit. We swapped the new carafe for our old one and now the refurbished machine works like a dream. What a relief to have top-notch coffee again.”
“I don’t think I can give an honest review . I love my ratio 8. I feel ratio 6 is ok but has too many moving parts . I like the thermo, keeps my job hot. Overall I think it’s an ok machine but I rather have my ratio 8”
