“Have not had coffee sitting in it long so just not sure about that part of it. I wish there was a spout like a watering can so i didnt tilt it so much to get all coffee out”
“Frustrating to have to pay so much for a carafe and lid system that should have come with the original coffee maker, but still worth purchasing to avoid getting yelled at for dripping coffee on the counter every morning.
This updated version is workable, but has some minor issues. You need to tip and pour the carafe slowly, or it will start to splatter a bit, given the shape and small area of the spout. There are also still some retention issues when you get to the bottom of the carafe. You end up having to shake it upside to get the last bit of coffee out.
Still, a major improvement over the original design.”
“The new Carafe is definitely an improvement over the original, which is a relief. However, it was a bit disappointing to discover that it comes with an additional cost of nearly $50, especially considering the investment of over $300 for the original. After putting up with two years of a dripping/leaking pour, I had hoped that replacements would be provided at no extra charge.
That said, I understand that Ratio has a business to run. I appreciate the efforts made to enhance the product.”
“The spout is much improved! The coffee stays hot for a while and warm for quite a while, yay. The coffee flow does splatter a bit in the final pour of the carafe. That’s my only note for the next version.”
“If I could give it 10 stars I would! I liked my Ratio 6 before but now I love it! The lid is so much easer to use & clean, it doesn’t drip, the coffee keeps hot longer, and the carafe is easily cleaned. Bravo for this great improvement and offering it to your prior customers.”
“the Ratio 6 Thermal Carafe (Series 2) redesign is great. It is so nice to not have drips of coffee on the counter and down the front of the carafe. The coffee seems to stay hot longer. It works with the existing components so it's a no brainer and I can finally get my hand in it so it is much easier to clean. keep up the great work”
