“I like my coffee hot. I always add 3 cups of water and run it through the empty filter to warm up the pot and my mug before brewing. So when Ratio said they upgraded the heat retention, I decided to give their new carafe a try. Sure enough, I no longer have to warm up cups 3 and 4 in the microwave any more. The lid is easy on and off, and I have an extra carafe for when company comes and wants to brew a different blend. Thanks, Ratio. Well done.”
“Much better than the original carafe! Pour is smoother and less likely to leak. I don't really know how to "lock" it shut but it's a vast improvement from the previous iteration.”
“The updated carafe is a welcome improvement to Series 1. Eliminated splashing and fewer drips make for a much cleaner pour from the elongated spout. And the new, tighter sealing cap seems to insulate the carafe better, leading to hotter coffee for longer in the day. Lastly, though it's only been a week or so since purchase, the interior of the carafe already seems less prone to staining. A delightful upgrade to an already great coffee making experience.”
