“So far we are very happy with The Ratio Eight. One thing that bothers a bit is the pouring of the coffee when the rubber lid is on. Since there is no escape hole for the air, it is an awkward, slow pour. Nor sure if there is a fix, since the desire is to keep the coffee as warm as long as possible.”
“This is a terrific design, and makes great coffee. I wish the supply chain problems had been able to give us the thermal carafe we ordered and paid for. And I wish the glass carafe could be kept warm. But love the coffee.”
“What a gorgeous machine. We were blown away by the quality of every aspect of the R8. We sprung for the Thermal Carafe and I'm glad we did as it helps keep the coffee hot for that second cup and we love that you can bring it with you wherever you are enjoying your coffee. It will cool down after not too long so might try playing around with filling with hot water first. We also bought the reusable filter and so far so good. The coffee tastes like a great pour over you get at the cafe--smooth with no bitterness.”
