It’s beyond gorgeous and the coffee is delicious. My search for a no plastic/non toxic coffee maker has ended. “This is our second Ratio 8…needed one for both houses. It is absolutely the best built and aesthetically pleasing coffee maker I’ve ever owned. The carafe keeps the coffee nice and warm, although I drink it so fast it probably does not matter.”
“Makes great coffee, but could use some improvements. I wish the opening for pouring the water was a completely open hole, sometimes if I miss the hole the water will hit the part that's covered and splash out. It would be nice if it was programmable, but I know that might take away from the aesthetics of the coffee maker. Coffee is a little slow to pour out of the carafe and it's very top heavy, but with a full pot it fills more balanced. Overall I like it, but I feel it should be priced lower.”
“First off, the build quality on this bad boy is amazing. You'll enjoy just dusting it off every morning when you make your coffee - it's gorgeous. It takes a little time to get your ratios (I prefer closer to 42g of coffee on on half tank of water vs. the recommended 35g - but to each their own) and grind size down but once you have that going it's a breeze to make your cup of joe in the morning. I'm enjoying this thing a lot. If I were to ask for anything, it'd be a way to control timing during bloom and between each water shower session - fingers crossed that will show up in v2 down the road.”
