“I love the way this looks. It fits on our wet bar and blends in beautifully. My only con is that the coffee does not stay hot whatsoever. My husband is constantly microwaving his coffee after our first cup. Unfortunately the glass just does not hold heat, and the bottom is not heated either to keep coffee warm. I don’t want my husband to say we need something else so I may have to get the thermal carafe.”

Thanks for the feedback! Two things to consider that you may not be aware of:
- we have a thermal carafe for the Eight that will raise the initial brew temp AND keep it hot for you
- the Ratio Six brews hotter than the Eight if you use the included Heat Shield - the coffee is WAY too hot to drink for most people right off the bat :)
