“We absolutely love this addition to our ratio 8. Although I do feel for the price tag it should just come with one of these, I got mine for New year's sale and it was worth every penny.”
“SO much better than the glass carafe, which breaks easily and cools the coffee too fast. Dont bother with the glass, this is much better. Would have given 5 stars, but had to peel off the "made in china" sticker before use. Sigh.”
“The thermal carafe is definitely nice to have. The only downside is a full pot will fill it right to the brim so you have to be careful with it when full.”
“Keeps the coffee piping hot, but wouldn't hold a full pot of coffee. I filled the water to the line on the Ratio 8 and coffee was overflowing in the carafe at the end of the cycle. Have to now fill the water a decent bit below the line so I won’t have a mess to clean up. Not sure if mine is some how defective or it was designed this way (which wouldn’t make sense).”
“This carafe solved the only problem with Ratio; now my coffee is kept warm enough to drink. It is exceptionally high quality. Some think it is still not hot enough but I don't like my coffee scalding hot so it's perfect for me! Love the Oyster color, classy.”
“We love the look of the Thermal Carafe & Dripper - it is a beautiful display. We live in a very cold climate so the glass carafe just wasn't an option for us. The Thermal Carafe does keep the coffee warm, but not hot. The dripper would be better if it clipped in, or screwed onto the pot. It seems to be a bit of a balancing act whenever we have to move the pot/dripper to the machine, or to the garbage to throw away the filter... We still love it, but it could use some small tweaks.”
