I figured a juice cleanse would be the perfect reset and let me tell you I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. First off, I LOVE to eat. I am extremely health focused but live my best life in the kitchen and food is my love language (a tad bit of an emotional eater at times). The idea of not eating made me nervous but I was beyond surprised to find that I really was not hungry at all! BUT AREN'T YOU GOING TO POOP A TON? Surprisingly NO - legitimately didn't have a poop issue at all. You will pee A TON but I was shocked to see that I wasn't making the bathroom my second home (even timed the cleanse to days I was home JUST IN CASE)
AREN'T YOU STARVING?! Honestly, no! I did have one night around 5pm where I was getting a bit of an energy dip and could feel a sense of hanger hitting but I followed the protocol and had some fresh fruit and a cucumber and was back at it. By the last day my body had adjusted and I couldn't even drink all of the juices I was so content - amazing!
HOW DID YOU GIVE UP COFFEE? I didn't! I am a caffeine addict so I did have LESS but I gave myself one glass of black iced coffee in the late morning/early afternoon; totally compliant in the cleanse!
HOW ARE YOU DRINKING SALADS THO? ISN'T IT NASTY? Guys - the juices are AMAZING. I will admit I am a healthy eater and am a fan of greens so I do have a leg up on that but I honestly enjoyed all of them. They all have a little something fruity (green apple, lemon) to balance out the greens.
