“Bottom line: I lost 6 pounds in 4 days on the low sugar cleanse. The first day, I drank all 6, but after that I gave the apple celery juice to my husband (who liked it), since if was far more celery flavored than anything else. I ended up having a small apple or banana each day and some steamed broccoli. The last day I had to make butternut squash soup (basically pureed vegetables) to get by.
I wanted to try this, as I am a breast cancer survivor and struggling with weight gain from Tamoxifen. I feel really great having completed this yesterday. My bloating is gone and I feel fired up to maintain the loss and continue to focus on vegetables. I really enjoyed the vanilla greens, strawberry greens and the protein greens. I also kept one full day of juices in my freezer for when I need a reset day. It was exactly what I needed.”
“Really good idea but I really wish there was a non single use plastic solution…. Also, even after 48 hours in my refrigerator I had to use the immersion blender to smooth out the ice crystals. Some of the drinks wouldn’t pour out of the bottle because of all the ice, I had to stick in a straw to dig it out.”
Hi there! We understand your concerns and do apologize for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, the only way to preserve all the nutrients and flavor in our juices without using any chemical preservatives or HPP (high-pressure pasteurization, which essentially cooks the juices to give them a longer shelf life) is to flash freeze and ship them frozen. When a liquid is frozen, it expands, causing glass bottles to shatter, so we must use plastic bottles instead.
For the thawing issue, a lot of times if your refrigerator is too cold and the bottles go in as a solid block of ice, they can take too long to thaw. If you notice this problem, a great way to thaw the bottles is to leave them on the counter for an hour or until halfway thawed (do not exceed 1 hour outside of refrigeration) and then transfer to the refrigerator overnight. Try not to put the bottles right next to each other, as this will make the time to thaw quite a bit longer. 😊

“I have to watch my sugar intake and I was very pleased when raw generation came out with a lower sugar cleanse. The flavors are great and I love that they have less natural sugar in them. They are great with shipping them quickly to me and they always come frozen. I have been buying from raw generation for a few years now and I only have good things to say.”
“I was worried this might be too lemony/minty for my liking, but I really enjoyed this cleanse. The fifth day was hard, but felt full and had enough energy to work otherwise. The smoothies are great in it!”
