“Got a sand-free beach mat to go under our cabana-style beach umbrella. Used it yesterday for the first time. Such a beautiful mat, silky soft and comfy to sit on. Sand doesn’t stick, and neither does water soak in - the kids had a fantastic time watching the water bead and run along the mat!
The hole in the middle is a perfect size for our umbrella pole, roomy enough to fit through.
Such a light mat though, we had to try to hold it down with bags etc as it kept flipping up in the wind. Perhaps a hem with some little weights in the corners or along the edges may help. Only really an issue on really windy days though. Otherwise, super happy with my decision to get one of these!”
