Hi Pamela, Sorry that you felt the messaging was unclear and that the product didn't fit your board. We do mention on the product page that this is only for the 10'8" Activ currently but understand we don't say what year. As you are still within the returns period we would be happy to offer a refund on your product or give you credit off your next order. If you would like to take up either of these options please email team@red-original.com and we can talk you through returning the carry strap.
