Ektachrome 100 is a really good slide film. Kodak did not disappoint with their reintroduction. Even for a slide film, the dynamic range is very acceptable. It tends towards bluer, cooler colors; however, don't worry about skin tones, they all seem very natural (with a bit of coolness). Landscapes also came out very well. It's the most forgiving slide film and most realistic which makes it ideal for shooting friends, family, and vacations. If you're looking for contrast and a more "cinematic" look, I'd recommend Fuji Provia 100, as it's a more contrasty film. Overall, Ektachrome guarantees easy to shoot, realistic, colorful images.

Ektachrome is one of the last remaining slide films, and it performs extremely well. I'm planning on developing and then mounting this film to show with a slide projector as a new way to showcase my work!

I was weary about shooting slide film but loved the results I got from E100. Very sharp, vibrant and true colors. If you haven't shot slide film before, I would recommend this film stock first!
