When you want speed, and sharper pics with less grain, this is the B&W film. Very nice results

Kodak T-Max 400 has been my go-to film since I began shooting black & white film in 2005. The film provides consistent results across a wide range of exposure options - push, pull or shoot at box speed and you will get a nice, fine grain with good contrast. Kodak seems to have change the glue used to hold the self adhesive strip onto the film for sealing - keep some rubber bands or hair ties in your camera bag so you're prepared.

Long time affectianado of this film stock. I've always been pleasantly surprised at its fine grain for 400 and I love the low end shadow detail retained with this film. I typically shoot moodier underexposed if anything images with metering being mostly for highlights and this stock works for me. Great on skin tones of all kind too.

First I want to say the the Reformed Film Lab has outstanding customer service which includes very fast shipping on film products. I do no scientific testing of films. I simply like the way Tmax 400 looks. I mainly shoot portraits and like the fine grain, especially in 120. The contrast is good and the blacks are beautiful. It is my go to film for B/W portraits. It is a consistent performer.
