“400D has become my main color film stock these days, largely because of its color palette. Although it's not a cheap option, if you're looking for something that has an "old school" vibe, low contrast, and a pale color palette, then this is a great option. The grain is surprisingly low, one of the best I've seen in a 400-speed color film, and it's easy to develop and scan. It has some halation in bright light, but not as bad as 800T - just be mindful of that, and the slight hue that can result in some lighting conditions. That's not a bug though, it's a feature, and if you don't like halation and that kind of look then grab something else!”
