“I exchanged emails with customer service at Resthouse in order to determine what size robe to get. I received speedy and helpful service which made me feel better about placing an online order. Based on my size (5'5", 120 lbs, b-cup) I was advised to select the small/medium rather than the x-small. I was worried that since they are unisex they might be sized large, but they aren't. I am between a small and medium in most clothing and the S/M robe fits well in a fitted way (i.e. I wouldn't want it to be any smaller).
The only reason I am giving this robe 4 stars instead of 5 is that when I washed it it shrunk a lot (I knew it would shrink some because of the comment on the Resthouse website), and I didn't even put it in the dryer. Luckily it was on the large side before washing - especially the sleeve length. Getting the sizing right is tricky because you can't really know your size until after washing. I assume I wouldn't have been able to return it post-wash if it had turned out to be too small. Pre-shrinking the fabric would make more sense. The fabric is really, truly nice and soft - even before washing. No scratchiness at all. It is not thick, but it isn't too thin either. I like it because I was looking for something more lightweight than a fluffy terrycloth robe. I ordered the deep ocean green colour and it is a good match to what you see in the photo. Overall I'm quite happy with it so far and would certainly order from this company again.”

“I ordered one of these for my boyfriend for Christmas, and now I'm getting one for myself, because I'm jealous.
He's 5'11", medium build and the L/XL fits great after a wash. I'm 5'6" and it fits me too, in a comfy oversized way. Teal colour is beautiful.
It was backordered when I ordered it, staff immediately sent me an email informing me, and letting me know when it expected to ship (I think it went out a day earlier). Not a problem for me, it came well before Christmas anyway. Didn't have to hound them for updates or anything, great service.”

“Took at least 2 weeks to revive the product, that was too long for my liking. Once received, it said to wash the housecoat before wearing. That is because it shrinks substantially after the first wash, which was a good thing!! The housecoat is perfect. Would have preferred to have had it preshrunk.”
