“I sleep predominantly on my side and that often led to numb or tingly hands and fingers, pressure points on my knees, and a very stiff and achy back, as various parts of my skeleton slumped and twisted in the night. I was intrigued by the body pillow and following Chris' excellent demonstration in the store, during which I got to hug that pillow myself for a moment, I knew that this was the answer! It's truly miraculous how much difference it has made to my comfort throughout the night. If I roll over, it comes with me, sort of like wrestling a crocodile with my arms and legs wrapped around it - it never leaves my clutches! The wool keeps me warm and compresses just enough to be cozy, while retaining shape and support. If I sit up to read, the body pillow can be easily fashioned into a great back support. I only wish I'd found this item sooner.”

“I came into Resthouse to look at wool blankets, had an honest tired mom conversation with Charlene and shared with her that my son sometimes co-sleeps but wakes frequently lately to just snuggle. On the weekends this is acceptable as we can wake as many times as needed and carry on, but on work nights it sometimes is too many times to wake and be able to still function the next morning. That is where the childrens body pillow came into action! He will cuddle it, sleep on it like a regular pillow and will also tuck himself underneath it for comfort. He drags it out of his room to snuggle on when we read stories and lines his "babies" on it to sleep when we head out for the day. I can only imagine as he grows to understand it better that it will correctly align his spine while he sleeps which will assist in less aches and pains while he grows!
I also purchased a body pillow for myself as I often wake with sore hips, lower back pain, and tingly arms. I am a side sleeper through and through and some mornings are just terrible. My shoulders scrunch into each other and one or both arms are often numb. The body pillow corrected these issues overnight, I'm not stiff getting out of bed anymore, and we also use it as a prop up pillow for bedtime stories. I have yet to look into more ways to use the pillow as I am only using it for side sleeping, but I am sure it has other benefits that I will get to experience with it soon enough! My only qualm is that it takes up a lot of room in our queen sized bed. Can't wait to keep dreaming with this pillow, thank you Charlene and the other Resthouse staff!”
