“We went into Resthouse to just "look around" and an hour later came out with 4 pillows and 2 body pillows. Chris was very helpful - took lots of time to answer our questions and let us sample the various firmness levels of the pillows, body pillows (and mattresses).
Neither of us had been sleeping particularly well and we were impressed with Chris telling us that most clients improve their sleep measurably by purchasing the right pillow, NOT a new mattress. He explained how the pillows work and customized the fill density of each pillow to get heads/necks in the proper position. One size does not fit all!
The proof is in the pudding - we cannot believe the tremendous difference we've experienced in not only getting to sleep, but staying asleep.
These pillows are not inexpensive - but then again how much is a really good night's sleep worth? We are very glad we visited Resthouse ... thank-you Chris for helping us make a wise and very worthwhile investment!”
“I dropped by the shop on a whim as I was just going for a walk in Duncan. In the past I have spent a fortune on pillows and it just the recent past spent over $500 on two separate Silk fibre pillow! The lovely girl suggested to me that I try the organic latex pillow and I was very reluctant as I had tried very lumpy foam pillows in the past. As a person who suffers from migraines and headaches my pillow is very important to me and this organic latex pillow is bar none the best pillow I have ever had. No one is more surprised than I am. Another huge plus is that there is a zipper which facilitates the removal of the filler to customize the pillow. I actually removed quite a bit which can be added back as needed. 5 stars for sure. I will definitely be visiting the shop again for my bedding needs

“So far I am loving this pillow although it has taken me a lot of adjusting so far. I'm sure if I was able to go into the store, they could help me out much quicker but as it is I've been been nitpicking it a bit. Recently, I washed the outer case which caused it to shrink thus making the pillow firmer as I am squishing it into a smaller space so again I had to take some fill out. Make sure to wash in cold and hang to dry to minimize shrinkage. I also was used to the density of down so the bounce factor in this pillow took some getting used to. The quality is awesome and overall I am very happy!”

“So I think I've bought 3 different types of pillows from Resthouse. A Wool, an Alpaca and now Shredded Latex. All purchases were met with EXCELLENT customer service and dialogue from the staff at Resthouse. I am PICKY with pillows and have not found the first two as comfortable as I'd have liked...but FINALLY, this shredded latex is the one...I had to take about half the latex out, which was fairly easy (slighty messy, but a vacuum does the trick). Have had excellent sleep so far. For reference, I usually like a strong support (wool was too squishy). Buckwheat was my main pillow for a while but over time it was hard on my head. This shredded latex has the support I need, but also is soft enough to be comfortable so I wake up with no neck or head pain. Excellent Pillow. Excellent staff, Excellent company. Would recommend.
