Description
AllGear’s static 32-strand polyester tree climbing line is excellent for Stationary Rope System (SRS) climbing. These ropes make a great direct access line because static kernmantle ropes are low stretch. The black and white Finish Line pattern meets many requirements, including military requirements. As a static rope, it is stiffer and can be difficult to knot, but it is also more resistant to abrasion. These ropes keep their round shape under the most stressful circumstances and run smoothly through mechanical devices.
Climbing Technique
Stationary Rope System, also called Single Rope Technique refers to ascending and descending while the rope stays stationary in the system. This approach is common when climbing taller trees with a height of 300 feet or more.
