Description
Our 12-strand ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (generic dyneema) is one of the strongest materials available. Size for size it is stronger than steel, yet it is light enough to float on water. It is blue urethane coated for greater wear resistance and longevity. These ropes make excellent winch lines, pulling ropes, and lifting slings. HMPE is an extremely high strength and low stretch rope which makes it the safest choice for applications requiring the highest level of safety.

“Solid rope, though a bit harder to splice than other sizes. This one has a plastic ribbon running through the middle that gets stuck on the fid.”

“I purchased 600' of this rope in August for pulling electrical feeders. It has held up very well. The eye splices still look great after dozens of heavy pulls with a 20'000 lb tugger.”
