Description
Our shock cord is made with premium quality natural rubber from Malaysia giving it some of the best stretch ratios in the industry. Our “bungee” cord safely stretches 120% +/- 5%. The elastic rubber core is made up of lots of small rubber strands making it stronger and more elastic than most other cords available. We also insist on using polyester for the braided cover sheath because polyester has the highest abrasion resistance and UV resistance, much better than nylon or polypropylene. Stretch cord is often referred to as shock cord or bungee cord. All these terms are different names for a similar product.

“I ordered 50 feet, and received 48. Fortunately, I can use it. But even bungee cord can be measured without stretching.”

Hello, we are sorry to hear that your stretch cord came up short! We pull this product through a certified rope meter and always give a little extra just to be safe. We would never intentionally short someone, but if it is short, we will gladly make things right!
